29292M  Unidirectional thrust tapered roller bearing

Model & Structure: Series 90000, available in single-direction and bidirectional types; composed of shaft washer, housing washer, tapered rollers + cage, separable and detachable. It can withstand both axial load and certain radial load simultaneously, which is the biggest difference from thrust ball bearings and thrust cylindrical roller bearings.

Key Features: Tapered line contact, high load capacity, good rigidity, impact-resistant; self-tapered design with slight self-aligning capability, higher tolerance for assembly parallelism than thrust cylindrical roller bearings; relatively low limiting speed, suitable for low-speed heavy-load applications; axial preload must be applied during operation, otherwise rollers tend to slip and cause burning damage.

Comparison with Other Thrust Bearings: Thrust ball bearings: pure axial load only, smaller load capacity, higher speed; thrust cylindrical roller bearings: axial load only, highest load capacity, no self-aligning, very strict assembly requirements; thrust tapered roller bearings: combined axial + radial load capacity, balancing heavy load with slight self-aligning capability.

Typical Applications: Heavy-duty automotive differentials, large gearboxes, mining reducers, vertical shafts in construction machinery, heavy screw presses, heavy-duty slewing supports.

Usage Guidelines: Axial preload clearance must be adjusted during installation; suitable for low-speed heavy-load applications with combined radial + axial loads; not suitable for high-speed operation; adequate lubrication is essential.
